WHAT ADVICE WOULD I GIVE SOMEONE LOOKING TO HIRE A PERSONAL TRAINER?

It is an absolute must to ask what their credentials and certifications are, and if they are certified by a reputable certifying organization. The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) is the Gold Standard in the fitness industry since 1975 and is the personal training certification that I hold. Many other reputable certifying organizations reference ACSM's material and publications. All of ACSM's training protocols are based on scientific evidence and years of evaluated results. Personal trainers that are willing to spend the time and money getting certified and maintaining their certification thru continuing education are the ones you want to hire.

HOW DOES MY PERSONAL TRAINING SERVICE STAND OUT?

O2 Fitness Studio is a boutique-style fitness studio providing an intimate and personal experience. I am a certified personal trainer with ACSM, offering personalized attention, free from the distractions of large gyms filled with tons of people. You don't have to worry about feeling uncomfortable training with other people around, it's just you and me! My primary goal is ensuring you're training safely, while pushing you enough to make progress. 

What do I enjoy about the work I do?

The most fulfilling part of my job is being a part of my client's journey in achieving weight-loss, improved muscular strength/endurance and improved cardiorespiratory fitness. Poor health impacts every aspect of our lives, and seeing daily improvements, big or small, in my clients is extremely rewarding. Achieving weight-loss, improved health and being free from pain may bring many obstacles, often ones that stir up many emotions. Working one-on-one with a client takes more than just putting together a great training program - it takes trust, compassion, empathy and patience. 

What types of customers have i worked with?

I've worked with men, women, young and old. I've worked with clients post-surgery, those who were significantly overweight, and those looking to get stronger and more fit.

Are you truly committed to achieving your health and wellness goals?  I truly believe that we all find the time and money for the things that are most important to us. If your health and quality of life is a priority, then don't just wish for it, work for it!
